Living in Pace, FL — What to Know Before You Move
May 12, 2025
Pace, Florida sits in the heart of Santa Rosa County, just a short drive from Pensacola but with a slower, friendlier pace of life (yes, locals love that pun).
Families move here for the top-rated Santa Rosa County schools, the abundance of newer construction, and the genuine small-town community feel that's getting harder to find in Florida.
If you're commuting to Pensacola or the military bases, you'll appreciate the easy access to Highway 90 and I-10. Most of Pace is a 25-35 minute drive to downtown Pensacola.
Before you move, it's worth understanding the different pockets of Pace — from established neighborhoods near Pace High School to the newer developments out toward Chumuckla. I'm happy to walk you through them.
